About the Puppy Birth Certificate Template
There is little in life that can beat the excitement of the arrival of a new puppy, especially if it is your first. Be prepared to have your life taken over by a bundle of fur that will be impossible not to love. If you have found one at a rescue centre or are buying one from a reputable breeder and have to wait until it is 10 or 12 weeks old, there are a few things you can do in advance, prior to its arrival. Aside from bowls, food, bedding and toys, a great idea is to create a Puppy Birth Certificate. Why? Because one thing you will discover is that your puppy will need regular vaccinations at certain points in its “puppyhood” and then once a year thereafter. Because so many of us lead such hectic lives, it can be easy to forget the annual trip to the vet, but if you have a great-looking Puppy Birth Certificate pinned on the wall above your puppy’s bed, you’ll have a constant reminder.
Another lovely touch is to include a photograph of your new puppy on the certificate, which is so easy to do thanks to the handy designer toolkit we include with all our great certificates. Of course, if you are preparing these birth certificates for the birth of a litter of puppies at home, then make sure you’ve got plenty of paper and ink in your printer as the world record for the largest litter of puppies is 24!
